Readers' Contribution
This page is dedicated to those who have
contributed material towards the off-roading part of this
website.
First to contribute to this page was Paul
McCauley. Paul lives just out of Te Anau, on the South
Island of New Zealand. Here's a photo of his recent
adventure to a historic gold-mining town, Macetown.
"A
photo of a trip to Macetown (starts at the back of
Arrowtown). Went in fruit season and made a day of it all
through central eating fresh fruit as we went :) Trip itself
was great, about an hour & a half each way, heaps of
water crossings (approx. 25), quite busy in tourist season,
so can go on your own as you will pass 10-20 other 4x4's on
the track, must take care if raining as some of the
crossings become DEEP, a camera and picnic are ideal as when
you get to the end there are lots of places to explore and
relax" -
Paul.
And
to prove it he sent me this;
